Do all products have to be stored in the fridge?
Oil based products such as our Whipped Coconut Oil, Ultimate Hair and Body Butter do not need to stored in the fridge. However, they need to be stored in a cool, dry area and out of direct sunlight. Some products may melt during transit or under warm conditions. The whipped coconut oil will melt at temperatures above 72 degrees F. This does not impact the quality or usability of the product. Although the consistency may change, to re-solidify, place in the fridge for a max of 5 minutes.
How long can I keep my products?
We recommend you keep you rotate your preservative free products every 30 days. After 30 days please dispose of your product. Products are more effective when used fresh. Oil based products (products that do not contain water) can last longer, under certain conditions: making sure the product is closed tightly after use, using a cosmetic spatula instead of your fingers to avoid contamination, storing it in the fridge or storing it in a cool, dry area and out of direct sunlight.
Products containing preservatives can last longer, but no longer than 6 months.
What is the best way to preserve my product?
Products are preserved using Optiphen Plus (INCI: Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid) liquid preservative from ISP/Sutton which offers broad spectrum preservation without parabens or formaldehyde.
If you order our Simply.Nisot products without preservatives, we recommend you store the water based products such as our flaxseed cream, leave-in etc. in the fridge upon delivery. Oil based products and oils need to be stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight to maintain freshness, prevent the products from going rancid and achieve maximum shelf life. For this reason, we use amber containers to keep as much light out. Oil based products such as our whipped coconut oil will melt under temperatures above 72 degrees F. Should this occur, place your product in the fridge to re-solidify. Products will maintain the same functionality in its liquid state and after it solidifies.
Are your products safe for pregnant or mothers that are breastfeeding?

We use amber containers to maintain freshness of the product and attain maximum shelf life for natural products by keeping out as much light as possible out.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
We highly recommend our products to those with sensitive skin. For this reason, we have chosen not to include any coloring, fragrance, harsh preservatives and emulsifiers like Cetyl Alcohol. We aim to keep our products as clean as possible as if you made it in the comfort of your own home.
**We do not now or in the future plan on hiding what we put in our products or try to confuse you, for this reason you will see no mention of "special blend or mix", Fragrance or other ingredients**
Our cosmetic spatulas are the perfect accessory for daily use to remove moisturizers and creams from jars to avoid contamination. This will assist in extending the shelf life of your products.

Shipping and Delivery
We use USPS to ship our packages. Items are processed within 3-7 business days and are delivered within 2-5 business days (US orders only). Customers will receive an email with their tracking information when items have shipped.

For our INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, the purchaser/receiver is responsible for paying any applicable taxes and duties that may apply.
